Christmas Decorations

It felt a little weird putting the Christmas decorations up without Morgan here, but it would also have been weird and somewhat miserable not to have bothered. So yesterday morning we had Christmas songs playing throughout the house and made the annual trip into the attic to find the tree and the lights and soon had the house looking festive.

It was a little wild, wet and windy outside but I managed to get the outside lights up as well. I haven’t got any photos of those yet as it was too miserable out there once it got dark. Meanwhile, the cat decided to join in and tried to decorate the bedroom!

It’s not long to go now and the lights do brighten things up a little. We did of course check to make sure they weren’t using up too much electricity, but with them all on and the usual background from the house (Aquarium, Weather Station, PC, various chargers, smart hubs, solar panel inverter etc and the TV) we were still only using 400 Watts so they aren’t too bad.
