Heart Rate Interval Traces

I do like making pretty heart rate traces. Here’s the one from my lunchtime run today.

Nice hey? It has my run pace on it as well. All courtesy of a 10x 1min interval session. I didn’t really feel like it to start with so the first few intervals were a little lack-lustre but I gradually warmed to the idea and was pretty much flat out by the last few intervals so each one got progressively faster and harder.

The little bump in heart rate during the cool down was whilst running up over the steps on the boardwalk, and the drop a little after that was whilst walking over the pebble bank.

It was only a short run today, so my time outside during my one permitted outdoor exercise session was limited. I might just have to spend some time in the garden later to prevent cabin fever setting in.
