Ynyslas Dune Walk

I don’t need an excuse to go for a walk around the dunes at Ynyslas – I do it most days in fact. However, I wanted to try out my Insta360 camera so took it on my usual little walk. I’m not really sure how to shoot with it yet or how to edit the footage so I needed to get out and experiment.

So, here’s a little minute-long video of my walk around the Ynyslas dunes.

There’s still lots to learn and lots to experiment with but it seems to shoot good-quality video. The reframing options look fairly easy and I’m beginning to come up with a workflow for editing the footage. Although with a complete 360 view to choose from, selecting where to look at any given time might be challenging.

I also have to find the best ways to mount the camera on my kayaks, surf ski’s, bikes and windsurf boards. I have some ideas so let’s hope they work. Watch this space.
