Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis

It looks as though we are about to be hit by another storm. Storm Dennis is following hot on the heels of Storm Ciara. There is quite a lot of flooding locally and a fair bit of damage was done along the seafront in Borth and Aberystwyth but for the most part the sea defences and such like held up well and most people escaped unscathed.

This is what it looked like out of the window of our lounge during Storm Ciara though.

Crazy weather. Heavy rain, 50 knots winds and a day for staying indoors. The wind has eased off today, but it looks as though it’s coming back with a vengeance on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Maybe time to dust off my smaller windsurfing kit and get out there and brave the storm.
