A Sunny Winters Day at Ynyslas

It was one of those quiet weekends before Christmas here in Ynyslas. The sun was out so not only were we generating plenty of energy from our solar panels but it was a nice day for a stroll on the beach too.

When I say plenty of energy from the solar panels it is of course relative. The short days and low elevation of the sun means that even with wall to wall sunshine the peak power output only got to around 1.6kW and the total output for a day was around 7kWh. Not loads, but better than nothing.

Stroll on the Beach

It was all quiet on the beach as well with just a light breeze to trouble the sea.

The forest forest is still exposed well in places. The peat beds and tree stumps create mini landscapes all of their own.

Hi Alan, those European Triathlon Kitzbuhel hats are the best. I managed to score three of them. Now hogged by the family. Glad to see you are recovering well.
