Snorkelling in Borth

We’re certainly making the most of the Summer Holidays. It may only be the first day but with gorgeous weather there’s just so much to do. If only we could have some proper time off at home to fit it all in.

Morgan and I have been busy today though. After our Big Butterfly Count and some gardening we had lunch on the deck at our new bistro set and then headed into Borth for a spot of snorkelling around the reef.

The water was warm, the sky was blue, the sun was shining and the beach was looking glorious. We swam out to the breakwater and then along it for a bit before heading across to the reef and snorkelling around that. We saw a few fish, some crabs and the odd little Jellyfish, but not a huge amount really. It was nice to floating around out there though and Morgan certainly seemed to enjoy it, even if he did get a little tired towards the end.
