Paprika and Sara Pascoe

There hasn’t been much happening here really – we’ve all been busy with work and sorting out what Morgsan is going to do for the next year. He’s decided to take a gap year rather than go to university so has deferred his offers for a year and is now looking at heading off to Canada to work and travel. That sounds like a good idea to me, he’s got his ‘A’-levels so can return to higher education whenever he wants, so he may as well see some of the world while he’s young! It’s also a good idea as it might mean that Anna and I can take a trip to Canada to visit him at some point in the next 12 months!!!

So, with nothing to blog about I took a look through my photos from the last week or so just in case I’d missed anything. There was a nice photo of Anna in a Hungarian restaurant called Paprika. We went there fairly early in the evening as we were then going to the Arts Centre to see Sara Pascoe. This meant that we were the only ones there for the most part, but the owners were lovely and the food was delicious. The cherry drinks you can see were nice too.

Sara Pascoe was fun as well. She was supposed to have done the show back in March but it was cancelled due to train strikes. So, despite the tour having finished months ago she was back in Aberystwyth for one last show. She was also very heavily pregnant, which she wasn’t back in March! So, with the baby due in just two weeks time I think most of the audience was a little uncomfortable wondering if she was about to go into labour on the stage!

Other than the photo of Anna, the only other photos in my feed for the past week were from the garden. One of the Pampas Grass and one of Sunflower. I wouldn’t want you to miss out, so here they are.

Hopefully, we’ll get up to something blog-worthy over the weekend.
