Windsurfing at the Weekend

I’ve just realised that I haven’t blogged for a while and haven’t posted to say that I went windsurfing at the weekend. So, I had a decent windsurf session here at Ynyslas on Saturday. Steve came down for the day and we spent the morning blasting about in some big seas and a decent SW wind. Here’s a quick video of the day – filmed with my Insta360 on a new Flymount attached to my mast.

And some stills from the video too.

Back at home we had some bad news about my brother who seems to be following in my footsteps by having a heart attack. Thankfully he didn’t do it as well me (as expected) and got to the hospital quickly so has made a pretty fast recovery with no real lasting effects as far as I know. By contrast, I still get chest pains pretty much every day, even though it’s been more than 2 years since my heart attack (more discomfort than actual pain). I’m also not completely convinced that the doctors have taken the clotting disorder that I have that seriously so I’m not 100% sure if I’m on the correct medication. Maybe now that Jay has followed in my footsteps at pretty much exactly the same age we’ll get a few more answers. I don’t think so though.

And of course you Dad had a heart attack three weeks ago, his first, as he usually goes for the strokes as did Brad!
Maybe time to have another” go at” the Doctors! Kia and Brad haven’t heard anything back about the genetic testing they had been promised so maybe they should “have a go at their Doctors too. Could it be that Jay realised instantly and sat down and asked Jack to ring to ambulance and didn’t carry on like you did ! Of course he also had extremely quick attention so no damage done to his heart unlike you . I’m just glad that all of you are ok x
