The weather is improving and as the forecast was for a warm,, dry, windless night I put the moth-trap out before heading off for a mountain bike ride in the Dyfi Forest. On the drive home there were bats flying everywhere. They must have been out catching moths and other insects so it looked as though it should be a good...
I put the moth trap out last night and then went out and sat by it. It seemed more as though I was feeding the bats though as there were loads of them about, swooping down and flying under the pergola and then circling around the moth trap. I didn’t get to see them close...
