Morgan the Beekeeper
Morgan doesn’t always join in with our bee hive insepctions, but when he does he likes to get stuck in. Maybe next year we should give him a hive of his own and let him do everything with it to see how he gets on – with some help where he needs it of course.

In fact, I think the hive that he is inspecting in these photos will be perfect for him. It was set up in a hurry in order to house an artificial swarm so isn’t on a proper stand and is instead on a couple of breeze blocks. This makes it a little low for my liking which hurts my back when I’m inspecting it. However, it looks as though it’s at a perfect height for Morgan.
