Lakeland – Excellent Service as usual
It’s not often that you get excellent service from online businesses these days but sometimes there is the odd company that stands out and goes over and above the normal level of service.
I treated myself to a pair of fluffy slipper complete with wheat warmers from Lakeland this Chrsitmas. Alan will dispute this as he gave them to me for Christmas but I still think that if I do the ordering and the paying then I treated myself!
I really thought these slippers would be perfect for me. I always seem to have cold feet and use other wheat warmers at home all the time. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about wheat warmers are like a hot water bottle but instead of filling it with water it is filled with wheat grains and you warm them in the microwave. The ones I have a great, even Morgan can manage to warm one up for himself if he wants to (with a little supervision of course).
Anyway, back to the slippers! I was really disappointed. They were baggy and didn’t keep my feet warm at all. I didn’t really think much of it but submitted a review to Lakeland. They soon got back in touch and have offered a full refund, no quibble and said they are really sorry I didn’t like them. I don’t even need to send the slippers back.
I do get a lot of stuff from Lakeland and they always deliver on time and provide excellent customer service and this is just another example.

Just had a quick check on Lakeland and they don’t seem to stock these slippers anymore. Maybe I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like them!
