Just a quick update from the garden seeing as it is in fine form at the moment. It’s still dominated by the pinks and purples of Aliums, Irises, Aquilegias, Chives and Foxgloves, but the blues of the Forget-me-Knots and Bluebells are now fading. It doesn’t feel as though we’ve even started Winter yet. Regardless, there are already signs of Spring in the garden with Daffodil shoots, Periwinkle flowers, flower buds on the Hellebore and even some rhubarb shoots breaking through the soil. It’s not looking very Spring-like out over the sea this morning though.
I guess it is harvest festival time. Despite not spending too much time working in the garden this summer it is producing well at the moment.
