Early Spring in the Garden

We had an early taste of Spring this weekend. Time to activate the robots and get them ready for action. It didn’t take long to do even though I had to rebuild Harriets’ house as it was destroyed in the recent storms. By 10am on Saturday morning robot lawn-mowers were soon charged and out trundling around the garden getting the grass in shape.

I couldn’t let them do all the work though so I did a bit of early Spring cleaning in the garden too. Nothing too much as it is still quite early but some tidying up here and there was achieved. It was certainly in need of some attention.

It was nice to see a little bit of colour here and there and to see the bees making the most of the sunshine too. The colony that was knocked over in the recent storms seemed fairly happy which is a good sign. The pergola had been blown over in the storms too so with the help of Anna and Morgan we resurrected that too. At least now we can get to the bottom of the garden again.

There is of course lots to do out there, but with a few more weekends like that and I should get on top of it.
