Social Bookmarking

I’ve finally got around to checking out what all the fuss about Social Bookmarking sites is for. For those who don’t know what they are read this description of Social Bookmarking. I’m still not convinced about them, but I do quite like ma.gnolia.com simply because it is the prettiest of the social bookmarking services I...

Cuckoo, Cuckoo 0

Cuckoo, Cuckoo

I don’t think I’ve heard one for a while, but we have a Cuckoo in the garden at the moment which is a nice surprise. We hear it all the time and have seen on perched on the telephone wires now and then. I know they aren’t particularly rare and aren’t difficult to hear or...

More sunshine

Another lovely day here, so we made the most of the location we live in and took a walk across to the beach for a picnic in the dunes and some fun on the beach. All followed by more messing around in the garden and another BBQ… All of this relaxing in the sun has...

Fun in the Sun

What a glorious weekend..No wind which isn’t great for me, but with lovely sunshine and decent temperatures it was nice to simply chill in the garden and have a nice BBQ in the evening with a few of the neighbours. This did of course require some frantic shopping in the morning for BBQ supplies and...

Although the functionality isn’t that different (there is only so much you can do with a list of For Sale adverts) it has had a...

Now, people reading this won’t know this, but I’m posting this blog entry from a widget on my Mac OS X Dashboard… I assume it will work anyway. Hw clever is that! It got me wondering what other weblog clients are out there for the Mac, so here’s a little list. I haven’t checked any...

Butterflies 0

Butterflies

Well, part of the deal that allowed me to go on holiday recently was that Anna was able to have a couple of weekends to herself, so she has been off to Shrewbury where she met her Mum while I have been on Dad duties looking after Morgan. Yesterday wasn’t too nice weather wise so...

Back from Dahab, Egypt

Well, we survived our trip to Egypt. no bombs and for me no emergency toilet trips either! Dahab is nice, I certainly wouldn’t call it pretty, but the backdrop of the Sinai mountains are spectacular and the views across the Gulf of Aquaba to Saudi Arabia are good. The villa we stayed in was really...
