A Winter Walk
The glorious cold, but sunny weather is back and I finally managed to get everyone out of the house for a little walk at the Ynyshir RSPB reserve. Morgan took some persuading as he seems to be addicted to ‘Club Penguin’ on the computer at the moment, but in the end the thought of taking his puffle for a walk and a photo shoot was enough.
It was certainly cold and very icy there but with clear skies there were the usual lovely views of the Dyfi Estuary. We didn’t see that many birds, loads of Canada Geese of course, and a nice close up view of a Grey Heron on the way there, but not a lot else.
Anna seemed to enjoy the little walk as well and has been saying that we should get up early every Saturday and go out for a nice family walk. It looks as though we may finally get around to doing some of the local geocaches that we’ve yet to tackle.
