And here it is ready to be chopped up and eaten. I could add some more sparkles and such like but think we’ll stop there before we ruin it.
It’s not quite finished yet – we have to add a whole load of presents around the tree. Morgan has been working hard on those. Otherwise progress on the Christmas Tree themed Christmas Cake is coming on well. Even if I do now literally have green fingers thanks to all of the green food colouring!...
Another sleepless night last night thanks to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. We started off by taking the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to the Railway Inn and The Victoria in Borth so that they could sing carols at the Mad Friday punters and collect some money. Woohooo, it seems as though the telecommunications gods have given us an early Christmas present… The fastest Broadband we’ve ever had – a whopping 3.3Mbps. OK, it’s not that great but it has at least allowed me to stream and watch the entire Red Bull Storm Chase video without any buffering – not in HD...
We went to the Aberystwyth Beekeepers Association Christmas Social on Tuesday evening. Held in Waunfawr Community Hall it was an ‘American Supper’ where everyone brings along a plate or two of food, a Christmas decoration for the tables and eat, drink and chat together. There was loads of food to go around and everyone seemed to...
Everyone else seems to have had some sort of lurgy lately. Stomach bugs and colds seem to be rife and half of Morgan’s school was off ill one day. Morgan wasn’t quite right himself the other day, Anna’s Mum was coughing and spluttering whilst she was here and work colleagues have all been ill too....
Morgan’s cornet playing has been improving quite a bit recently. So much so that he now quite often plays alongside Anna in the Aberystwyth Silver Band. They were out raising money and entertaining the shoppers at Morrisons last night, although I’m not sure why Morgan didn’t have his band uniform on.
