Tales from a down-shifted family

As I’ve mentioned before I’ve become a bzzagent which involves trying out new products. One of the products I’ve been asked to try recently is Danone activia yoghurt. This youghurt comes in a variety of flavours and is widely available. The claim is that the special digestive bacteria help maintain a health digestive tract and...
As you may have already read, we had the first ever Ynyslas Fun Day here at the weekend. A low key affair, but you have to start somewhere. One of the events was a ‘Treasure Hunt’ arranged by Anna and myself, which we think went well Everyone set off with their instructions sheets, and had...
Don’t you just hate having to keep turining your pillow over at night because it gets too hot? Anna never quite understood why I did this, but she found a product called a ‘chillow pillow’ and began to realise that maybe I wasn’t the only one who liked to have a cool head. She ordered...
Thought I’d post about our new cooker and the excellent service we got from Aber gas and Electrical Appliances in Aberystwyth. We looked elsewhere. Curry’s had one or two we liked the look (and price) of, but they were a little vague with the dimensions and fitting advice and the ones we could afford didn’t...

Most people come to this part of the world for the beaches or the hills, but I came across a blog this morning from someone who appears to have come here to admire the litter bins! You can read his blog entry here
Well, I have just been out in my lunchbreak to get some potty training supplies incase Morgan decides that this really in the real thing. I got some ‘big boy’ pants (7 for £1.50 from Bwise), some stickers and a new spiderman as a present (and because Daddy stood on the last on enad broke...
