Holiday to Dorset – Triathlon and Home

Just to finish off our bog posts about our holiday to Dorset, we had an early start on Sunday so that I could compete in the Osprey Sprint Triathlon. The race went well in glorious sunshine, if a little windy. Click here to read my full Osprey Sprint Triathlon Race Report.

After the race we had a little wander around the Fish and Ships festival that was taking place in the saling academy. There were plenty of nice looking cars, bikes, boats and loads of food stalls all serving delicious smelling food. I had a nice brunch burger stuffed full of burger, sausage, bacon and black pudding.

We then started the drive back to my parents house with a stop at IKEA to buy some furniture for Anna who had been looking after our guinea pigs whilst we were away.

We had Sunday dinner at my parents, and breakfast there the following morning and then set off for Wales, with a stop en route for a picnic and Eardisland.

And that was it, holiday over and done with and back to work and school. We can’t wait for the next one though.
