Aberystwyth Fun Fair 2011
Well, Halloween and bonfire night have been and gone, so that can only mean one thing – It must soon be time for the fun fair to arrive in Aberystwyth. Last year I said:
“I’m not 100% sure the dates of the 2010 fair, but it is normally on the 1st Monday after the 12th of November and the subsequent 2 Mondays after that. It also runs on the Saturdays before the second two Mondays – if that makes any sense.”
So, by that description that means that this year it should be on the following dates:
- Monday November 14th
- Saturday November 19th
- Monday Novemebr 21st
- Saturday Novemeber 26th
- Monday Novemebr 28th
Have I got that right?

Market and funfair (used to be called the hiring fairs, where farmers and masters would hire servants).
