Butterflies and Otters

Just another post about our trip to Dartmoor and a visit to Buckfast where we went to the Butterfly and Otter sanctuary.

The butterflies were spectacular and we followed a keeper around whilst he was feeding the otters so got to know a little of the history of each otter as he gave a talk at the same time.

Morgan enjoyed it all and bought a cuddly otter toy. Some of the butterflies were pretty amazing, but the iridescent gold cocoons were even more impressive.

We then took a free vintage bus trip to Buckfast Abbey where we had a picnic lunch and a wander around the abbey and its grounds. Another nice day out on Dartmoor.
