Techniquest

The first day of our holiday and like the rest of the week it dawned cold, wet and miserable. We therefore headed off to Cardiff and ‘Techniquest’, a kids science museum.

It was really good with loads of hands on displays and lots of interesting and fun things for Morgan and for me and Anna. Much better than Eureka! that we went to in Halifax last year. It isn’t cheap of course and we had to pay extra to go into the Planetarium and on a trip to Mars, but it was good. As Morgan is only 5 we had to go into a Planetarium show for under 7’s, which was a little too basic really, I think we all would have preferred a more advanced one, but Morgan is into his planets so knows a fair bit about them.

It was a good day out though, followed by a trip to the swimming pool on the caravan site whilst I went for a windsurf at Newton Bay.
