Do I have Swine Flu?
The flu I had at the weekend has been coming and going and was probably at its worst yesterday. Was it Swine Flu? who knows, maybe, but last night most of the flu like symptoms went away and I was left with a bit of a sniffle, a nasty cough and a sore chest.
The chest pains have now got worse and have started to feel a little like they did when I was admitted to the cardiac ward earlier this year with Pericarditis, so I’m off to the doctors again later to get it checked out. Hopefully its nothing, or maybe just a chest infection but I guess its better to be cautious and it gives me an excuse to show off my blue nipple to a complete stranger!
And yes, we did phone the doctors first to let them know that I’d had flu before making an appoitnment as I know that they don’t want people with Swine Flu in the surgery.
