Going Grey
Me? Grey? Are you sure. OK, OK, I’ll admit it there are one or two grey flecks here and there! That’s not what I’m talking about here though. Instead, it’s a refresh for our camper. It now has a new ‘Nardo Grey’ bottom half.
Not only does it look good but it has (for now) addressed a few little patches of rust too. These were stripped back, rubbed down and treated prior to being resprayed. It has a new front splitter as well.
We were thinking of possibly having a brighter, more cheerful colour, but the interior is grey so it ties in well.
Also, it did have some large red VW stickers that were towards the rear of the van. I was expecting one of them to stay which is one of the reasons why we choose a grey colour as any other colour would have clashed with the red of the sticker. However, the fact that the red sticker disappeared does meant that we could really have gone with whatever colour we desired! Oh well, Nardo Grey looks nice.
