Strike up the Bands
Just a quick clip from the ‘Strike up the Bands’ concert we went to the other night. Morgan’s cornet playing is coming along nicely so he was interested to go to the concert which included sessions from the Ceredigion Youth Band, the Aberystwyth Silver Band and the Aberystwyth Wind Band.
It started quite late though with the Youth Band playing. Then all bands played together as seen in the video above. Next up was the Aberystwyth Silver Band in which Anna was playing. By the time Anna had finished it was almost 9:30pm, Morgan was very tired and the Wind Band had yet to play. We therefore didn’t stay for the Wind Band but did feel a little mean leaving at this stage and quite sorry for the members of the Wind Band as by now quite a few people from the previous bands had left leaving a depleted audience for them.
