Christmas Lights

I know, I know, it’s still November – mentioning Christmas on my blog should be illegal. Don’t worry, we haven’t gone mad and put up the Christmas lights too early. However, we had an evening in Aberystwyth on Saturday for the turning on of the lights there.

We were there because Anna was playing in the Aberystwyth Silver Band as part of the parade. As well as the Silver Band there was a lantern parade and I think there was a donkey! It wasn’t the best weather but there was a good turnout and the streets were packed.

The band played a few carols around the tree and then with a little bit of a build-up the lights on the tree were turned on.

I guess it won’t be long until we are putting our own tree up. I don’t think we’ll be adding to our light collection this year though
