The Conservatory Continues

Work on the conservatory may not be quite as dramatic as the civil engineering project that is Borth’s Sea Defence Scheme, but it’s just as exciting for us.

The builders had a well-earned break over the weekend which gave the concrete slab a chance to dry out. The floor level is now almost up to the floor level inside the house, and things are looking good. They have managed to break a drain-cover and dislodge a few slabs around the house but hopefully they’ll fix these before they finish.

There isn’t much else to look at after their work on Friday, but they have cut some slots into the house and added some fixing bars that will hold the conservatory walls to the house walls.
