Morgan’s 6th Birthday Party

A house full of rowdy, over-excited 6 year olds? No thanks, we’re not that silly! It was Morgan’s birthday last week, during half term so we waited until this week to have his party and decided to let the good people at Play Planet in Llandre organise most of it for us.

Play Planet is a relatively new soft play centre built in the old school overlooking Bow Street. They do kids parties and will arrange the whole thing for you, including the catering, party bags etc. We thought it was a good idea not to have the party in our house and as this is just down the road it seemed like the ideal place.

The  party went well, Morgan and his friends ran riot on the soft play equipment – although some bits can’t be that soft as we ended up with a few tears here and there, a nose bleed and Morgan managed a pretty impressive injury to his ear. It was nice not to have to organise the food and more importantly clear up afterwards and the staff were all nice and helpful. Anna made the Club Penguin birthday cake though which went down well.

After their party dinner it was back on the soft play equipment for a while before everyone headed home with party bags and balloons.
