Blogging from my iPad

I’ve been using my ipad more and more. It’s perfect for a quick check of my email and for browsing the web. I’ve been reading kindle books on it and of course playing a few games.

Actually creating anything on it and upswing it productively isn’t quite so easy though. I haven’t even really been able to blog successfully on it. Posting from within the WordPress admin panel within the browser is just about ok, but you can’t scroll back through your text to proof read it so I end up typing it in a notepad app and then copying and pasting. Adding images etc doesn’t really either.

I’ve tried using the WordPress app but it crashes every time I try to load it so that has so far proved unsuccessful. I’m now writing this from within an app called blogpress. It seems ok for the text and I can add images but as they come direct from the photos app they aren’t optimised for display on the web, I’m also unable to easily add extra formatting and such like to a post so it looks as though I’m still going to have to keep blogging from my desktop.
