Waterproof Overshoes
My new favourite things!
Not a lot I can say about them other than the fact they look like wetsuit boots with holes in the soles, but they help keep my feet toasty whilst out on winter rides and for that reason I love them!
I’ve yet to use them on a really cold wet night ride but initial outings seem to be positive. I always get cold feet whilst Mountain Biking but these certainly seem to help, even with just my summer shoes on.
The cleats on my goretex winter boots are worn and I can’t get them off to change them – I’m going to go at them with a hacksaw soon. Because of this I’ve been forced to wear my summer shoes at the moment and the overshoes have therefore been a godsend.
I’m not sure if they will fit over the top of my winter boots, but if not I might buy a larger pair for added protection throughout the winter. Waterproof sock, goretex boots and neoprene overshoes – My lucky little feet!
