Feed the Birds Day
It’s ‘Feed the Birds Day’ on Saturday 30th October.
Organised by the RSPB, Feed the Birds Day is supposed to remind us about all the things we can do to help birds and other garden wildlife through the winter.
The RSPB are running lots of Feed the Birds Day events across the UK, which includes an event at our nearest RSPB centre, Ynyshir, where they’ll be helping you build your own bird feeder.
Get out there in the garden, check your feeders and make sure the garden wildlife is well cared for – It’ll brighten up some of those long dark winter’s days when you see the birds and other wildlife enjoying your garden, even if you are watching it from the comfort of your warm, cosy living room.

I hope you remembered to feed the birds – We did, and we made a bird feeder at RSPB Ynyshir.
