What’s this Caterpillar?
Morgan and I found this caterpillar in the garden on Saturday. We’re not quite sure what it is though, possibly the caterpillar of a Grass Eggar Moth. Does anyone agree / disagree?

I don’t know if its just the fact that I’m looking more this year or if there really is more wildlife in the garden, but here’s a caterpillar of a Yellow Tail moth that I’ve just spotted.
I don’t know if it’s just that I’m noticing them more this year but I’ve just found another caterpillar crawling across the path. This one looks like the larvae of a Drinker Moth to me.
I’ve just found a little caterpillar on the honeysuckle, looking for all the world like a little twig. Perfect camouflage, so much so that he almost got pruned along with the other dead twigs. Having looked through some books, it looks most likely to be the caterpillar of an Engrailed Moth.
