The Stubborn Duckling

Anna and I had a lovely evening out (for Anna’s birthday) on Saturday. We’d been meaning to go to the Stubborn Duckling in Aberaeron for a while and finally had an excuse to do so – there are some advantages to getting older!

So, after a couple of days in the hills I headed home, made myself respectable and we headed down the coast to Aberaeron. We had a little stroll around the town first and then headed to the Stubborn Duckling where we had pride of place in the window seat!

The food was lovely, we both had 3 courses and all were delicious. I didn’t get any photos other than one of the birthday girl with some rosemary and sea salt focaccia before the starter arrived. After that I think we were too interested in eating to take photos!

As always, it’s nice to get out and try new places and we’d give the Stubborn Duckling top marks.
