Ynyslas Savannah

Yawn yawn… Hot, sunny and still no rain. How much longer can this go on? We’re not complaining as it’s lovely here in this weather and the beach is always calling. Barefeet and boardshorts has been the order of the day here for a while now along with at least twice daily trips to the sea for a dip of one sort or another.

The hills are great too, especially on two wheels so there has been no end of activities. It does mean a bit of work keeping the house cool and keeping the garden alive but that’s a small price to pay for a proper summer for a change.

18 days and counting without a drop of rain and it’s looking more and more like the dry grasslands of the Savannah than the usual wet and boggy West Wales. The Ynyslas Savannah is beginning to grow on me though, who needs green grass anyway.
