JOGLE Planning

Phew, the JOGLE planning continues. I’d already made route plans, although a few have been amended slightly so that we can finish at certain places for photo shoots and there is the odd detour just to avoid dual carriageways and larger roads. The current routes are

Day 2: Inverness to Pitlochry – 87 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/443116
Day 3: Pitlochry to New Lanark – 96 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/443187
Day 4: New Lanark to Penrith – 96 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/435741
Day 5: Penrith to Preston – 70 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/435814
Day 6: Preston to Coalport – 96 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/439607
Day 7: Coalport to Bristol – 114 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/631273
Day 8: Bristol to Crediton – 78 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/439713

Day 10: Newquay to Lands End – 45 miles http://www.strava.com/routes/439776

We’ve now been through the road atlas as well with anna marking various bits of info on it. I’ve never seen so many post-its!

JOGLE Road Atlas

I think the Road Atlas will be Anna’s Bible during our JOGLE expedition. Only a week to go now, hopefully by this time next week we’ll be approaching Inverness and Day One will nearly be behind us.

I’ve been working on my bike as well. New brake cables, a quick gear service and changing of wheels and tyres. Hopefully it’s al ready to go.

Exciting journey ahead! If you would like to add another stop to the itinerary to aid after those hard-working muscles, we offer physio and sports massage. Our clinic is based midway of JOGLE, in Preston, just off the M6 and we are open late. Our number is 01772 717271. Good luck!
