Afternoon Tea
After chores and work this morning then a little snorkel with Morgan in Borth, followed by lunch, I couldn’t resist a bit of baking ready for a very British afternoon tea.
Scones
Mmm, freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and cream. Unfortunately we didn’t have any clotted cream so I had to make do with squirty cream. The scones didn’t rise quite as much as I would have liked either, but they were still delicious.
The snorkeling this morning wasn’t such a success though as we could see nothing at all through the murk. At least we’ve been in the water while the sun was shining though. I’m heading out for a bike ride once Anna gets home from work as well, I think I’d better make it a long one so as to burn off the 300 calories in that scone, and earn another one as well!
