Snow and Surf in Wales

The snow arrived as promised. It was pretty wild here this morning with blizzard conditions, but Morgan and I went out to play in it anyway… I’ll post some photos of that later.

I then did some work and headed off to the hills with Sarah (from next door) around lunch time. We went to our favourite snow spot just above Goginan, but the wind had been so strong that much of the snow had been blown away and although there was just about enough it wasn’t great. We therefore headed over to the other side of the hill where we found a long, steep and wide slope with lots of snow. I had a couple of runs on my snowboard. Sarah had a go on Morgans sledge and a few other people turned up with boogie boards, but then our fun was ruined by the booming sound of…

GET OFF MY LAND!!!!

At first we thought it was someone messing around as no-one would say it like that and mean it, but the guy kept shouting at us and sounded pretty serious, so we decided we’d better move on. Some people are just so miserable. We weren’t doing any harm, just having a bit of fun so I don’t know why he didn’t want us there.

Back at Borth and the surf was good, so here’s a photo of the surf at Borth with snow in the background.

Don’t you just love Farmers like that. He must look forward to weather like that so he can go and shout at someone.
I bet he’s at home telling his wife how he bravely chased off a bunch of Hooligans.
He ought to have come up with a more original shout though.

Miserable sod. He ought to have come up with a more original comment. I bet he’s busy telling his wife how brave he was chasing off a bunch of hooligans. Hope you didn’t do too much damage to his snow…
