Good ol’ Morgan – 18-24month developmental check.

Grown up MorganI had to post and have a little boast about my clever little boy. He had his 18-24 month check yesterday (I was brave and let Alan handle it while I was at work!). Morgan impressed the health visitor and even Alan in some parts by the sound of it. I’m sure a lot of it is the things he learns at nursery but the health visitor was impressed that Morgan sat down and had a cup of tea (from a proper china cup) with her before progressing to drawing lines and circles, building a tower and sorting the blocks into their different colours and doing some puzzles.

He was marked on everything he did and scored above his age in everything. Some things he scored close to what they would expect for a 3 year old and others just about right for his age. I’m really pleased because it wouldn’t have taken much for Morgan to decide he didn’t want to do it and do anything and we know he’s perfectly capable. most of all it’s peace of mind that we are probably doing things right and Morgan is progressing well with no obvious problems.

Well done Morgan!
