Out with the Toys

It’s been a while, but with time in the bank, the sun shining, and a decent breeze, it was time to get the toys out!

I was a little rusty, and as always in winter the waves were quite a bit bigger than they looked from the beach. There wasn’t quite enough for the 5.0 m sail, so I had to rig the 5.7 m as well. I don’t think I’ve actually used that sail before, so it was good to finally get it wet.

I didn’t stay out too long as I was on my own and I was a little sore from a hill reps run before work this morning as well. Still, it was good to blow away the cobwebs.

Talking of the Hill Reps, I haven’t done those for a while either – hard work, but fun!
