A Trip to the Isle of Man

Anna and I have just got back from a trip to the Isle of Man. Morgan didn’t come with us this time as he’s 18 years old and has better things to do – namely cat and house sitting and going to school! We went to visit Anna’s Mum, but did plenty of fun tourist activities too.

We had dinner on a steam train, watched dolphins, ran part of the coast path, spent a day on various trams and summited Snaefell. We walked through a glen, went shopping, straddled the Iapetus Suture, visited a wetland nature reserve, wandered around various little towns and villages and went to the garden centre. We visited various cafés and ate plenty of cakes, scones, pizza and of course ate Anna’s Mum out of house and home too! We even had an unexpected night in a Liverpool hotel on the way home as well.

I’ll write more about each part of the trip soon, but for now, here’s a little video that sums up the trip.
