The Wildcat Geocache Challenge
Despite spending a fair bit of time looking for cars at the weekend we did manage an hour or so putting a few pieces of the wildcat geocache together. We managed to find all but one of the figures required for the coordinates of cahce 4. We didn’t actually have to visit all of the virtual caches to find these and had already made an educated guess of some of the figures. This educated guess had allowed me to make another educated guess at the actually location of cache four and as it turns out that guess was spot on, so we could have gone straight to cache four without visiting the virtual caches… But the whole point is to get us to places that we wouldn’t normally go. I can’t tell you where that was for this particular cache as I wouldn’t want to give too much away to anyone else trying to do it. But we had a pleasant hour or so verifying the figures for the coordinates followed by Sunday lunch in a nearby pub.
Next time we are in the vicinity we shall attempt cache four and then the final wildcat cache itself.
