Continued Improvements

I did a ride that I haven’t done for a couple of years yesterday. Nothing huge, just a fairly flat ride into Aberystwyth via Lovesgrove, then onto the Ystwytn CC Devils Bridge 22 mile hilly TT course. Making a total of just under 45 miles. Having not done it for a couple of years, it was good to see that I PR’ed on most of the segments.

It wasn’t too hard a ride either and I did start it with three 15 minute fixed gear efforts so these intervals were slower than they would have been had I been able to choose a gear and they added to the fatigue for the rest of the ride. It’s good to see that I’m improving over the years despite advancing age!

It also meant that I earned myself a couple more scones with jam and cream too.
