Kitesurfing in the Hills of Wales

img_0926My parents are here this weekend so yesterday we took a drive up to Glaslyn lake for a little walk and a picnic.

When I got there, to my surprise I saw someone I knew setting up to go for a kitesurf on the lake there… Totally illegal of course seeing as it is a nature reserve so I on’t mention any names, but he said he’d been looking at my weather station all morning and it had been reading zero knots… No wind at Borth and he was desperate to go kite-surfing o headed up to Glaslyn to try his luck… And he was in luck. cold, but sunny with 20 knots of wind.
