Home Baking for Easter

Alan was out for the day so Morgan and I did a bit of Easter baking. We started with Hot Cross Buns to keep to an Easter theme and made these using the bread maker before leaving them to rise in the warmth of the conservatory. Morgan wanted to make flapjacks so these were next and at the very last minute he had the brilliant idea of adding in some nuts and seeds. The flap jacks turned out really well and according to Morgan and Alan were very tasty! A quick play with the food processor resulted in some chocolate chip cookies which Morgan soon polished off and we even managed to do a loaf of bread in the breadmaker as well. Not sure any of this is any good for Al’s diet but Morgan had fun, he is really good at weighy stuff out, and we all had a yummy snack!
