I’ve called this a ‘race report’ but for me and probably most of people taking part it wasn’t a race, just an event. It isn’t classed as a race by the organisers either and is really just an excuse to ride around the hills and woods of North Wales with 600 like-minded people. I’d taken part...

Hooray, he weekend again! Excellent, we were all off and able to have a family day out. It’s a shame that Anna has to work sometimes when Morgan is off school because Morgan and I get to go out and have fun whilst she is working – But someone has to pay the bills I suppose....

Saturday was an absolutely glorious autumn day. I did manage to spend some time outdoors, doing some gardening and maintenance on the water feature, but also spent a few hours indoors at the ABKA Honey Show. I was therefore dying to get out in the sunshine and ride my bike so decided to go to...

It was time to get back out on my Mountain Bike yesterday. I’d arranged to be picked up by John and we were heading to Coed y Brenin to ride around the MBR Trail and try out the new ‘False Teeth’ section. It was pouring with rain whilst in the car on the way there...

It was the last Sunday of the month at the weekend, so it was the Ystwyth MTB end of month ride. Usually we travel a little further afield for a longer ride but this time it wasn’t too far, just a short drive north to Coed y Brenin. There weren’t many of us either, just...

Long time readers of this blog will know that is know a family tradition to go Xmas tree-hunting in the run up to Christmas. Previous posts here will show that we usually meet up for our annual Xmas Tree Hunt at Brockley Combe Forest, cut down a tree, wander around aimlessly for a while and...
