Just a quick update - with a new MacBook Pro in my life, the 2019 iMac is now somewhat surplus to requirement but still going strong, and the 2013 iMac is also working well and has now been relegated to the shed - should I ever need a computer out there!!! I was going to use it in conjunction with my turbo trainer there, but my phone works just as ell for that and is actually a little easier to set up each time.

In reply to <a href="https://www.alananna.co.uk/blog/2020/08/a-new-2020-imac/#comment-55210">Charlie</a>.

Yep, I fully agree. They aren't 'cheap' to buy in the first place but if they give many years of service then overall they work out to be a pretty good investment year on year.

My 2013 iMac is still going strong and has been re-purposed elsewhere in the house as well so hopefully it'll keep going for a few more years yet.
