In reply to <a href="https://www.alananna.co.uk/blog/2018/03/windermere/#comment-43239">Alan Hunter</a>.

Yeah, it was good to meet everyone at the weekend, and always good to try new toys - don't worry, it doesn't take much persuasion for me to 'need' a new boat and the Revo was certainly nice - I little too similar to my BLU in terms of stability at the moment though and I don't really need two similar boats. Maybe I need to work my way up to the R1!! :)

I should have tried lots of different ski's out before buying one in the first place but wanted something I could just get out on straight away and so far it has served me well. I am a sucker for nice design and graphics though so the Revo's have always caught my eye.

I think I need to improve my skills a little before I can justify a whole quiver of surf ski's but no doubt that will be on the cards soon enough! One for flat water, one for waves, one for bigger waves, one for touring, one for smashing it in races and one for luck! :)

Another great blog post Alan.
It was a pleasure to meet up with yourself and Mark.
I've previously met the other guys and it's always good to meet fellow ski paddlers.
You've definitely got all the tools and determination to make a surf ski shift.
Almost too much energy for the likes of me ;-)
Windermere was so calm and the weather was almost like summer so that can't be bad.
Who knows I might get you paddling a Revo full time one day.
At today's price they're actually really good value in comparison with similar construction from other companies.
But there I go into sale mode... Ha ha.
Best of luck
