Haha… To would have been nice if the electric bikes had ran out of juice just after overtaking me in the climb!!

I once went on a London freecycle group ride and one of our group had one of the new-fangled electric bikes. Unfortunately it ran out of battery and he wasn’t strong enough to ride it home as it’s a heavy bike without the power – he had to swop bikes with someone fitter than him! The downside to electric!
