\"Ynyslas<\/a>

Ynyslas Surf<\/p><\/div>\n

It was a lovely day on Saturday so after doing some gardening and digging out bags and bags of compost from the compost bins we decided to head over for a family walk along the beach.<\/p>\n

However, as we walked through the groynes I was greeted by perfect peeling surf and some pretty decent sized waves, so it didn’t take much deliberation before I was heading back home to get my wetsuit on and surfboard out whilst Anna and Morgan continued on for a play in the dunes. It’s only a two minute walk back to the house and my westuit and boards are always ready to go so within 5 minutes I was heading back across to the beach, surfboard under my arm, ready to paddle out.<\/p>\n

Off for a Surf<\/p><\/div>\n

Anna and Morgan were now sat on top of the big dune opposite our house and had obviously been taking photos of me walking back to the beach. They seemed to be having fun up there so I jumped in, paddled out and was soon catching waves. They were\u00a0fairly\u00a0big so as always it’s a\u00a0fairly\u00a0difficult paddle out at Ynyslas as the beach shelves so gently that the waves keep breaking for quite a way. That probably\u00a0explains\u00a0why no one else was out as most people were probably out in Borth where the waves would have been half the size, but still big enough.<\/p>\n

I caught a few nice waves and I think Anna managed to see some, although I’m not sure if Morgan did as he seemed more intent on running around the dunes like a mad man. It looks as though he was enjoying himself though and I think Anna had fun in the dunes too.<\/p>\n
