{"id":9220,"date":"2011-11-09T17:20:12","date_gmt":"2011-11-09T17:20:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/?p=9220"},"modified":"2011-11-09T17:20:12","modified_gmt":"2011-11-09T17:20:12","slug":"open-water-swimming-in-clarach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/11\/open-water-swimming-in-clarach\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Water Swimming in Clarach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I thought I&#8217;d take my little <a title=\"Pentax Optio W60 - First impressions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/2009\/pentax-optio-w60-first-impressions\/\">waterproof camera<\/a> out for a swim with us today to get some shots of us playing around in the sea.<\/p>\n<p>It was a grey day with an offshore wind and a small wave breaking &#8211; perfect conditions for swimming in the flat, calm waters of Clarach Bay. I met Amanda, Graham and Sharon there and we were soon in the water swimming up and down. There was no sign of the <a title=\"Swimming with Seals\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/2011\/swimming-with-seals\/\">seal<\/a> this time so we just swam back and forth a few times and then played around with the camera to get a few shots.<\/p>\n<p>The water is getting a little chilly now so we didn&#8217;t really feel like\u00a0standing\u00a0around and getting too much footage, but the camera worked well and we&#8217;ll have to try it again on a nice warm sunny day.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-GGBIfsvtzI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I thought I&#8217;d take my little waterproof camera out for a swim with us today to get some shots of us playing around in the sea.
