We were actually wandering across to the beach to check out what was happening with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rspb.org.uk\/datewithnature\/274822-shear-madness-at-borth-beach\">RSPB Shear Madness<\/a>. Unfortunately there wasn&#8217;t anyone there so we\u00a0couldn&#8217;t find out more about the Manx Shearwaters or let them know that I often see them when out windsurfing.<\/p>\n<p>We did take a look at the flowers in the dunes though and were pleased to see that there were plenty of them. We didn&#8217;t see any of our honey bees on them, but there were plenty of bumble bees and I&#8217;m sure if our bees are desperate there will be a decent source of nectar and pollen for them in the dunes.
